Rory Singer was alert and terrific in letting me know of the great deal I could get by trading in my 2021 Ridgeline. I wasn't planning on getting a new Ridgeline, but today I took possession of a great 2025 model at a very reasonable price. Rory is my go-to sales rep for Honda--my third or fourth transaction with him.
I used to do IT work for this dealership so I know a lot of the folks that work there. I have never actually purchased a vehicle from this dealership but have gotten my car serviced numerous times over the years and they have excellent service. I'm a big Honda fan and love the Honda Civic Si. I decided to purchase my 3rd Honda Civic Si in black Pearl from Curtiss Ryan. I knew once I test drove the car I would be purchasing the vehicle. Wasn't too much pressure from the salesman Perry. I have excellent credit and wanted to finance though my credit union and there was no pressure to go through Honda financing. There were minor issues with the new car but Curtiss Ryan resolved the issues quickly. Would highly recommend Curtiss Ryan Honda to anyone looking to purchase a new/used car, or maintenance and repairs. Thanks again to all who assisted in my purchase. I will never have my car serviced at Curtiss Ryan Honda in Shelton, CT ever again. I dropped off my 2018 Honda CR-V on the morning of Tuesday, January 14, 2025 to have the fuel injectors serviced and Paul Harris said they would perform the fuel pump recall as well. Believe it or not, I had to wait until Tuesday, January 21, 2025 to pick up my car. First, Harris told me that the $169 diagnostic fee would be waived if I had my car serviced at Curtiss Ryan Honda. When I disputed the estimate, Harris lied and said that "waiving the diagnostic fee never crossed his lips." Second, they did not even diagnose my car until late morning on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Third, Harris lied to me and said that he had to express order parts and that my CR-V would be done on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Harris had Thursday off and he was the only one who could itemize our bill (according to Paul Viveros). At this point, I requested a loaner and I was told that they didn't have one for me. As it turned out, my CR-V was not serviced until Friday. Then we played the waiting game of getting payment from the warranty company. Harris should've done everything possible to get the payment on Friday, January 17, 2025 because he knew that the warranty co. couldn't pay out on Saturday (and Monday was a holiday). What was supposed to take 1 day turned into an 8 day ordeal filled with lies and empty promises. Furthermore, they replaced & charged me for 4 brand new spark plugs that my mechanic had just replaced on Thursday, January 9, 2025. From start to finish, it was an awful experience. I cannot, in good faith, recommend having anyone's car serviced here.
Twenty five years ago, I bought my second Honda from Curtiss Ryan a 1999 CRX EX on my father's birthday December 29 1998. Regardless of the distance from my hometown New Canaan to Shelton about 26 miles one way, my past experience made me drive North to replace the vehicle. It was donated to Vietnam Veterans. Most repairs check ups were done at Curtiss Ryan. Great customer service helpful answering questions concerns patient thorough explanations.
We researched the Honda dealerships in CT and found that Curtis Ryan Honda had a good balance of positive on line reviews of sales staff, service department and finance department. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by Mr. Joe Riggsbee, stating " Good afternoon and welcome to Curtis Ryan Honda. How may I help you both today?" We had many questions on the Honda product lines and Joe Riggsbee began to answer all of our questions on the Honda product lines. He is extremely knowledgeable on all products and features of the cars and truck Honda sells. He went with us on a test drive of a NEW Honda Passport and prior to the test drive pointed out features and safety features of the model. The ride was great! He walked with us around the new car outside lot and pointed out the cars and truck we were considering and the color options of each line. We spent a total of 3 three hours with Joe Riggsbee AND we bought our NEW HONDA PASSPORT TRAIL SPORT right off the show room floor that day !. We have bought a few new cars and trucks over the years and this is our first HONDA product. Mr. Joe Riggsbee is the following: professional, courteous, friendly, honest, no pressure to purchase right then and there, no added stress to the process of looking or buying a vehicle. Once you have decided to purchase a vehicle: Joe has all the paperwork ready, from new plates if you want or need them ( they have right there in the dealership), to all the necessary papers to sign to get that dream car or truck to your home. The Finance Business Manager, Marcin Kieltyka, was great working with Joe to get all things in order for the finance. Marcin explained all things clearly and any questions answered right away for us. A very nice experience as well. Joe Riggsbee also took the time to walk us around the dealership inside to show us the service department area and parts department for our future needs oil changes, tires etc. We were introduced to Mr. Kyle Hampton, Service Department, who also answered a few questions we had for future service. The whole process of buying any new or used car or truck these days is and could be a very stressful thing for families BUT in our experience at Curtis Ryan Honda, it was very easy, smooth, any and all questions answered no games. Plain talk. You could not ask for anything else when considering a big purchase item. Thank you Joe Riggsbee for our Blue Honda Trail Sport we could not be more pleased. !

Great dealership...As of this week, I have bought 4 Accords there. Andreas Odysseos went through EVERYTHING with me for the sale of my new Honda and the trade of my 2015. He even called me on his day off to make sure everything was ok the day after I drove it home. Jack handled the paperwork and was fast & efficient even while I read it all. Marcin Kieltyka was patient with all my questions on the warranty and financing. Through it all, there was no pressure.
